We decided to do a historic St. George tour on Tuesday. Our first stop was the St. George tabernacle. As soon as we pulled up, I looked over at the park and fountains near the tabernacle and said to Jesse, "That's Rick Johnson." Jesse said, "No, it isn't." But I insisted that it was, indeed, Rick Johnson from Tooele. So as soon as we got out of the van, we yelled his name; sure enough, he turned around and waved. What a small world!
After the tabernacle tour, we toured the Brigham Young home. Then we ate at 25 North Main, a quaint cafe on Main Street (of course) in downtown St. George. Afterwards, we went to Diary of a Wimpy Kid (the book is much better), and then we invited the Johnson's over for an evening of nachos and swimming. We had a great day!
WARNING: before viewing the pictures below, you should know that we have a very unnatural obsession with bronze statues.
P.S. - my tail end feels "almost" normal again!
