Our projected move-in date in the 30th. . . of JULY! Things are moving along quickly. The dry wall is in and is taped and textured. The trim and baseboards are installed. The closets have shelves. The tile in the bathrooms is laid and grouted. The tile in the kitchen area is laid and probably being grouted today or tomorrow. The brick is just about done; the rock will be finished this week. The stucco is starting today. Jesse painted the garage with primer. It was an awful experience as the sprayer kept clogging up. Little did he know he was supposed to "thin" the paint (at least that's what the paint expert at Home Depot said; but he read the entire manual and it said NOTHING about thinning the paint first!).

So, maybe we over-did it on our master bathroom. I think we over-compensated for the especially small master bathroom that we have right now. Anyway, Jaret just finished studying WWII in history, and he calls our shower the "GAS CHAMBER." He also calls our cold storage the "BOMB SHELTER." The other day, Jaret said, "So I'll know I'm in trouble if you send me to your shower!" FYI, our shower is 6'x3.5' with 2 shower heads (one high enough for Jesse; one low enough for me!).
I guess the bomb shelter is a good idea. Bryce's parents are really getting into the preparing for a nuclear disaster thing. So having a cemented in area to go to in that circumstance is a very good thing. And you even have the cement of your porch on top, so you should be set. Can they really get all the rest of the house done in 3 weeks? That is truly amazing.
