We have been on pins and needles the last few days trying to get everything completed, from the sale of our home, to purchasing a lot, to closing on the construction loan. It had to happen quickly because of the foreclosure circumstances of the subdivision. The title company, the real estate agents, and the bank loan officers all worked closely together and admit it was nothing short of a miracle that we were able to pull off everything in time!
So, we are now renters in our own home (well, it used to be our home), and we own 1/2 acre in Grantsville. And we're WAY in debt with a construction loan.
But we feel like we can breathe and now go forward with our plans. Maybe I'll be able to get some sleep now, too!
