Jaret is preparing for a mission. He's almost completed the application, and then he'll need interviews with our Bishop and Stake President. He may be able to submit his online missionary application as soon as January 30!
Bryant took and passed his driving test today! He is now an official driver. And, as his parents, we are now officially broke since we have 2 teen drivers (and they're both boys!).
We celebrated New Years Day with a few favorite foods: Easy Cheese Puff Bake and Cinnamon Rolls. New Years Eve was my kind of celebration... a nice family dinner, a movie at home, and in bed by 9:30 (okay, so the teens didn't make it home until 1 am, but the rest of us were in bed by 9:30 pm!).
Christmas was relaxing and nice. We celebrated a little differently this year. Jesse and I wrapped 3 presents to put under the tree for each of the boys, but we labeled the presents with reindeer names. The boys were quite flustered when they couldn't tell which present was for which boy. Santa filled the stockings and left just 1 present for each boy.
Later in the afternoon on Christmas day, we were invited to the Syracuse Family Center with the Gertge family, where we bowled, jumped, tagged, and golfed. It was a fun way to spend Christmas afternoon!
We had a grand time on Christmas Eve celebrating the Wilson way... with pizza and frappe... and shrimp. We also had a fun time during the white elephant gift exchange! Here's 2 ways to wear fanny padding...

We enjoyed hosting Thanksgiving this year. I made cloth napkins, which was kind of fun. And I was also excited about the little Oreo Turkeys, until Morgan accidentally ate some of the peanut butter from them and we had to quickly find her some benadryl. Thank goodness Walgreens was open!

Thankfully, I don't have to deal with the teen-age drivers yet. A friend of mine was recently talking about how expensive it is to insure 4 teenagers!
